Finaly I have a hit with japh. the number one of Ireland on Eurobilltracker.
He traveled from Dalkey - Killarney in 75 day with a distance of 266 km. It is for me hit number 220 and for japh hit number 29

On the end of the month I received a E-mail. Your notes is found by vermeer.
I thought this is vermeers first Irish hit, but no. This was an old note. I entered it 1546 days ago in the Netherlands.

I think he has to come to Ireland by himself to found his first Irish hit. He was planning to come over this month.

Thanks to japh, who entered more than the helft of the 10.000 notes this month, Ireland was able for the fisrt time in EBT history to enter more than 10.000 notes.

Now we are going for more than 100.000 notes in one Year.

This is the first day that Ireland entered more than 1000 hits in one day.
I had entered today 723 notes this morning. That was my personel record. Those notes where all new notes from bundles who I found at work.
I received a pm from japh with concratulations and he sad a record and milestone could broken today.

He sad also if we entered on an average a little less then 300 noted a day, than we brake the milestone of 10.000 notes in one month for the first time. It's hard but we are trying but I think i'm not able to find more new bundles.
Also two new members are promising and entering a lot of notes. Keep on going vladik80 and JohnTaxi

japh also calculated that if we entering on an average more than 257.46 notes till the end of the year than we reach the milestone of 100.000 notes in a year. Our avarage of this year is now 287.08 and hope it is growing

In the dutch forum gille started a Eurobilljoker. You entered 7 figurers in and on Wednesday and Saturday there is a draw.
Last draw I had 3 numbers correct. I was the first with the highest correct numbers, so I won 3 notes.
As thank I'm donating 3 notes. It is a nice way (and honest way) to swop notes :-)

Broke my personal record

A few days ago I discovered this topic on the forum. It wants to know what is the highest number of notes between hits.

Thanks to NIG I found out it was 2528, but the current situation was 2428.

Yesterday I entered three bundles of new notes in. So I broke the record, but this is not a record that I want to break.

So please find my notes and enter it in EBT. Thanks for that J

 

 

In the early morning of the 12 of December I received a PM from japh. He/She congratulated me that I singlehandedly surpassed the greatest number of notes entered in Ireland on a single day. That day I had a little bit more than 7 new bundles entered. In total 733 notes. The old record was on 652. The new score is: 941

Back in cold weather

I'm already back in Ireland for two weeks. Still have a little bit of tint and getting use (with help of an electric blanket) to the cold.

I'll scored 121 notes, 5 letters for the Spanish Alphabet and 3 world dots and no hits.

Also I found my first X5*** note.

At the time there was a ferry between Fuertventura and Lanzarote in service. That was the reason that we only could do a short tour (half day) to Lanzarote. So I was not able to get both world-dots from Lanzarote.

BTW Is someone looking for my notes. My last hit is already from 2-10-2008. Time for a new hit. My last active hit is from 9-5-2008, so sent over some notes to Ireland so that I can find them J

Rain again in Killarney

Rain again in Killarney. Al my notes are wet. I've to find a solution for that.

Tomorrow I'll fly to Fuerteventura. I hope that the sun is shining there. Weather forecast looks promising. Sun shining and 24⁰C.

I have a new computer, it is a little faster than the old one, so maybee I have more time to write more stuff in this blog.

I have a new provider, so my stats you can see on eircom

Ireland is a poor tracker country. The most Irish hits I have are entered by people who read the URL on the note that I have stamped. Most of the times it stays by a few notes for these people.

My scores are now: 44860 notes and 216 hits
So the hitratio is 207.69 a way above the 200.

On the forum they introduced us to timehunting. The meaning of the game is to enter much notes on diverend times. That is the reason that I enter the notes one by one (only not if I enter new bundles that I see at work)

I see that the blog is also changed. I had to figure out how I can enter links in the text

At last Internet at home

It took a long time, but finely I have internet connection at home.
Now I don't need to visite the Internet Cafe in town and have now more time to update and maintain my stats, list on the forum and also this blog.
Moving to Ireland brocht me on place 1 national :-). To update a list on the forum, I saw that Australiarno did the same thing as me (moving from The Netherlands to Ireland) He/She is now on plase 39 national.Today I have entered my 1000ste Biljet in Ireladn. If I count only my Irish notes, then My ranking is 19 National. Ireland is not a good EBT country, low on hits and low on entered biljets ;-(
I'm still waiting for my first active hit and my first Irish hit.

Now I've got 174 hits. One of them is a Triple.
In total I have entered 35161 biljets. Hitratio is a litle bit over the 200.

I promice to update this blog soon, now I have got internet at home, so there is no problem with it.

I hope You all can read this and that there are not to much misstakes in the english language. Afterall, I'm still a dutchman

Hoog nodig tijd om even bij te kletsen

Ik zie dat mijn laatste posting al weer van 26-2 was, dus is het zeker hoog tijd om weer wat te gaan schrijven.
De volgende posting kan denk ik ook een tijdje op zich laten wachten want ik ben druk bezig om voorbereidingen te treffen voor mijn verhuizing naar Ierland.

Vandaag heb ik sinds lange tijd weer eeen actieve hit weten te scoren. de voorlaatste was op 22-2. Ik had maar liefst 43 dagen hierop moeten wachten en had ondertussen 1810 biljetten ingevoerd.
Gelukkig had ik wel 8 passieve hits gekregen, waaronder een lang verwachte hit met davy29.

Inmiddels heb ik 152 hits en 34151 biljetten ingevoerd. Dit betekend een hitratio van 224.68. Ik sta op de 12de plaats nationaal en 66ste over heel EBT.
Ik denk dat ik in de nabije toekomst op plaats 1 nationaal sta :-)
Helaas zijn de vooruitzichten niet zo erg goed qua biljetteninvoer ga ik denk ik een stuk naar beneden, maar ik blijf alle biljetten die ik in handen krijg noteren :-)
